Fuet is made from, among others, lean pork, pork bacon (back fat), black pepper, garlic, cloves, coriander, salt and sugar, in a sheet of thin pork intestine. During drying, the sausage loses ± 35% of its weight.
This fuet is delicious on a tapas platter, but equally good on a piece of bread.
